Safari Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our friendly representative and transferred to your comfortable hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Later in the evening, you will meet your experienced mountain guide for a comprehensive pre-climb briefing. During this session, you will review the trekking itinerary, discuss essential safety procedures, conduct a gear check, and receive helpful advice to ensure you are fully prepared for your Mount Kilimanjaro adventure.

Your adventure begins with a trek through lush coffee and banana farms before entering the pristine rainforest. Watch out for monkeys swinging above! After 5–7 hours of hiking, you’ll reach Mandara Huts.
Optional a short walk to Maundi Crater for panoramic views.

Today the scenery shifts from rainforest to moorland, with giant heathers and volcanic rock formations. After lunch, enjoy an acclimatization hike (200 m up and down) to help your body adjust to the altitude

Day 4: Horombo Huts – Kibo Huts The trail crosses an alpine desert between Kilimanjaro’s twin peaks, Kibo and Mawenzi. The hike is long and exposed but rewarding. Arrive at Kibo Huts, rest, and prepare for the midnight summit push. Overnight: Kibo Huts

Summit Day (Uhuru Peak – 5,895m)
Around midnight, you begin your final ascent under the stars, climbing by torchlight toward the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. This is the most challenging part of the trek, with a steep and demanding climb up to Gilman’s Point on the crater rim.
From Gilman’s Point, it is a final push along the ridge to reach Uhuru Peak – the Roof of Africa, the highest point on the continent. Here, you will celebrate your achievement and enjoy a breathtaking sunrise above the clouds.
After taking photos and celebrating your success, you begin your long descent back to Horombo Huts for dinner and overnight rest.

After breakfast at Horombo Huts, you begin your descent to Marangu Gate through the rainforest. It is a long downhill walk, but much easier compared to the climb up.
At Marangu Gate:
-You sign out of the mountain register -You receive your summit certificate -You meet your driver
Afterwards, you transfer to Weru Weru River Lodge in Moshi to relax, enjoy a hot shower, and recover after your long trekking journey.

Day 7: Departure (Optional Extensions Available)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight home.
Alternatively, depending on your travel plans, you may choose to extend your adventure with one of the following options:
Zanzibar Beach Extension: Continue your journey to Zanzibar for relaxing days on white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and optional spice tours and Stone Town exploration.
Safari Extension: Head into Tanzania’s famous national parks such as Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, or Lake Manyara for an unforgettable wildlife safari experience.
Departure Home: Transfer to the airport for your flight back home, carrying lifelong memories of your Kilimanjaro adventure.
