Safari Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, relax after your journey or enjoy a brief tour of the city. Arusha serves as the gateway to Tanzania's famous northern safari circuit and offers beautiful views of Mount Meru.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. The Tarangire River attracts animals throughout the year, making it one of the best places to observe wildlife concentrations during the dry season.
During your game drive, look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species.
After breakfast, drive through the scenic highlands and conservation areas en route to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a game drive as you enter the endless plains of the Serengeti.
The Central Serengeti, also known as Seronera, is famous for its year-round wildlife and high concentration of predators. The region's rivers and permanent water sources support lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and large herds of herbivores.
Following breakfast, continue with a game drive toward the Northern Serengeti. This remote and spectacular region is one of the best places to witness the Great Migration between July and October.
The Northern Serengeti is characterized by rolling hills, woodlands, and the famous Mara River, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras undertake dramatic river crossings while avoiding crocodiles and predators.
Spend the entire day exploring the Northern Serengeti in search of the Great Migration. Witness vast herds of wildebeests and zebras moving across the ecosystem in search of fresh grazing lands.
The Mara River crossings are among Africa's most remarkable wildlife spectacles, attracting predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and crocodiles. The day offers exceptional opportunities for photography and wildlife observation.
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning landscapes, archaeological significance, and rich wildlife. The area is home to the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and supports both wildlife and the Maasai people.
Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Often referred to as Africa's Eden, the crater boasts one of the highest wildlife densities in the world. The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and the rare black rhinoceros. Surrounded by towering crater walls, this unique ecosystem offers a truly unforgettable safari experience.
After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha for your onward flight or overnight stay.
